âCan I Call Youâ simmers from a sultry place following âCrĂšme BrulĂ©eâ that I would say is more grounded. It has a yearning romantic tone to it. The sweet side of David comes out in this song but still has those sexy undertones in it.

All this time Iâve been singing Spanish covers, but Iâve never had that Spanish flare in my own pop music. I wanted to get in touch with my Latin roots, have fun, be flirty, and explore the sensual side of David. Something Iâve always been afraid to touch with a 30 foot pole before. Someone was really after me and wanted everything from me right away, but youâve gotta work for it if you want more from me. You may have had a taste that makes you go crazy (âyo te vuelvo locoâ is âi make you crazyâ in Spanish) but Iâm not going to give it all just yet unless youâre really worth my time and itâs worthwhile for me. Iâm picky about what I like and who I give anything at all to even after giving someone a chance to get to know me.

RATHER BE LONELY
âRather Be Lonelyâ is about the sadness you feel when you feel lonely, even when youâre around others who love you. Some people push others away because they believe they donât deserve to be loved. Iâve come a long way, but there are still some beliefs I learned as a child that I canât quite get rid of, that continues to overshadow love. The other songwriters and I also wanted âRather Be Lonelyâ to feel soothing and comforting. I hope the song provides a space for a listener to reflect on triggers, trust issues, and the hope to find healing.â

As David continues to unlock new levels of freedom in his music and beyond, Archuleta has found an endless source of inspiration in his growing passion for dancing, raves, and festival culture. âEDM festivals and dancing have been a new way of feeling a sense of community and togetherness that I was worried I would lose,â he says. âFeeling a oneness through music and dancing is so magical and therapeuticâitâs freeing and also creative. It has encouraged me to be more fearless and to not be afraid to express myself in more creative ways.â To celebrate, David has released 3 new dance remixes by Ty Sunderland, DeâLa and Andrew Lux for his hit single, âHell Together.â

I wrote this song based off what my mom told me a few days after I said I was stepping away from our church. She said she was going to step away too and then said, âIf youâre going to hell, weâre all going to hell with you.â While we didnât look at hell as many people do as Latter-day Saints at the time, and even now my transition out of religion has shifted the idea as a whole for me, I understood the sentiment she meant in what she said, and it meant a lot to me. Thank you for always loving and supporting me mom. â€ïž This song is dedicated to those who show unconditional love in a world where itâs so easy to judge things we donât fully understand, the way my mom showed that love to me.
